Mitchell Szczepanczyk

Mitchell is active with the Participatory Economy Project: He has contributed to the podcast “PEP Talk”, writes occasionally on the Participatory Economy website, and has helped develop a number of computerized simulations of a participatory economy, including those featured in the book “Democratic Economic Planning” by Robin Hahnel. Mitchell has worked in professional software development since 2000, and programs in a variety of programming languages. Mitchell lives in Chicago, is a founding member of CAPES (the Chicago Area Participatory Economics Society), and has contributed to many media-and-democracy efforts including Chicago Media Action and the Chicago Independent Media Center.
