Dr. Danbee “Tauntaun” Kim (they/them) is a Korean-American field neuroscientist, community organiser, and storyteller. They study social practices and cultural technologies that help us share knowledge, embrace change, and face the unknown. Pursuing this thread has pulled Tauntaun into adventures in free-choice lifelong learning, embodied education, cybernetics, circus, capoeira, improvisational music (“jamming”), wilderness medicine, speculative fiction, graphic novels, cooperative living, and platonic life partnership.
