Dougie Booth
Dougie is a PhD student specialising in political economy, energy politics and political theory. His doctoral research offers a comparative analysis of energy transition governance in China and the USA from 2003 to 2016. Beyond his primary research, Dougie has published work concerning socialist and democratic governance theories, as well as models for a democratic planned economy. His work examines how capitalist modes of political and economic organisation structure the development of the green transition and how socialist alternatives could facilitate its acceleration.
