In a letter to the website Cosmonaut, Amelia Davenport responds to Lea Firmiani’s critique of the article “Modern Industry and Prospects for Socialism” by Dónal Ó Coisdealbha through outlining how Stafford Beer’s management cybernetics as well as Soviet cybernetics can contribute to ensuring that 21st century attempts at economic planning don’t reproduce the issues with 20th century economic planning.
