Sophie Elias-Pinsonnault

Sophie Elias-Pinsonnault is a PhD student in economics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Before that, she completed a Master’s degree in Economic Policies for the Global Transition (EPOG+) based in Paris, with a major in Socio-ecological economics and policies (SEEP) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Her thesis focused on the influence of the organisation of labour on the ecological impact of production. She is also a member of the Research Center on Social Innovation and Transformation (CRITS) at St-Paul University and associate researcher at the Institut de recherche et d’informations socioéconomiques (IRIS). As part of a research group on postcapitalist democratic planning, she has written articles on the topic and presented at several academic events worldwide.
