Henri Chevalier
I am a PhD student in Social and Ecological Sustainability at University of Waterloo (Canada). My research focuses on identifying and analyzing growth imperatives—structural pressures that compel economies, firms, and governments to pursue continuous economic expansion—within the Canadian context. I aim to develop an actionable policy roadmap that seeks to neutralize these growth imperatives and enable a transition to a post-growth society that respects ecological limits while enhancing collective well-being.
