I hold a Bachelor in Economics (Athens University of Economics and Business) and I’m currently pursuing an MPhil in Economics at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Member of Union for Radical Political Economics (URPE), International Initiative for Promoting Political Economy (IIPPE) and Economics History Society (EHS).
My research interests include political economy of development, ecological economics, international economics, public policy, Marxist political economy & Political Philosophy.
I have participated in research and policy projects such as ARSIONE, ReSEES, ESENKA. My goal is to pursue a research career in economics, with a focus on planet & inequality based policies / relevant questions and to undertake a PhD in the near future.
Beyond academia, I’m actively involved in climate and social justice movements. As a member of Fridays for Future, I engage in initiatives promoting fair, inclusive, and sustainable future for the people and planet. I have a special interest in post growth theories and practices, trying to bring them into contact with the broader movements in Greece, currently through “Let’s talk about Degrowth Greece”.
