Giovanni Cadioli
Giovanni Cadioli is a historian of the Soviet Union, with a specific interest in the history of command economics, planning debates, and economic reform.
He obtained his BA in Sociology at the University of Trento (2010), an MA and an MSc in Russian Studies at the universities of Bologna/Budapest (2012) and Oxford (2013), and a DPhil in Soviet history at the University of Oxford (2018).
He has been a Teaching Fellow at Sciences Po (2019-2021) and Postdoc at the University of Padua (2019-2022), where he was also awarded an Assistant Professorship fixed-term (2022-2025, RTDA) and an Assistant Professorship tenure-track (2026, RTT).
