A new website brings together information about the 100th anniversary of Stafford Beer’s birth, providing access to a conference, a book, and a documentary about him and his work.
This anniversary is being marked by a series of conferences, initiatives, publications, and events to honor his life, work, and lasting influence. Several international partner organizations of Metaphorum will also be producing content and hosting events for this series. Metaphorum is also collaborating with INDEP to produce an online series of talks for the Stafford Beer Centennial, with more talks forthcoming.
There are conferences taking place in many different countries and on many different continents. Events are being planned across Europe, South America, Australia and many other places to encourage diverse participation across the globe. The events encompass many different formats with a wide variety of content being planned. Readers are also welcome to apply for the various events with their own work and submissions.
