David Bollier is an author, activist, and Director of the Reinventing the Commons Program at the Schumacher Center for a New Economics. He has written extensively on the commons, co-founded the Commons Strategies Group, and is a prominent international speaker on economics, politics, and culture.

Stefan Gruber is a professor of architecture and urbanism at Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in commons-based urban design and participatory city planning.
