Colloquium on Planning the Social and Ecological Transformation at University of Lausanne

An in-person colloquium in French, entitled “Planifier la transformation économique et sociale” (Planning Social and Ecological Transformation), will be held at the University of Lausanne on April 23rd.

Here’s a translation of it’s summary: “The concept of planning refers to the idea of regulation and public policies capable of guiding and bringing about profound change in technical, economic, and social systems. But it also raises many questions: What are the potential and limitations of a planning-based approach to transition? Can the transition be managed? Who decides which paths to follow?”
