IDA Publishes Article on Labor-Time Calculation and Private Reproductive Labor

IDA (Initiative Democratic Labor-Time Accounting) has recently published an article in which they expand the theory of labor-time accounting by explicitly including (private) reproductive labor and care work—areas that remained unaddressed in the original considerations of the Group of International Communists (GIC) from 1930. IDA explores how this work could be socialized within a libertarian socialism, examine its structural specificities, and shows how democratic labor-time accounting can serve as a tool to recognize it economically and politically. The text is available in German, Spanish, and English.
