New video on labour time accounting app by IDA

How can economic cooperation without exploitation – collective and self-managed – work?

IDA’s labour time app is a web application that technically implements the theory of labour time accounting and enables self-managed companies to operate in a networked, planned economy based on the number of hours worked. But how does this work in practice?

In their video, IDA shows you step by step how a company creates a production plan, how the public accounting department approves it, and how workers receive their working time certificates. Using the example of a pastry shop, you’ll learn how 50 Cakes are produced and which entities interact in the process.

The concept of labour time accounting offers a tangible vision for a post-capitalist future – and with their labour time app, the theory can be put into practice in a contemporary way. Take a look, test the app, and try out its features in the demo instance!

The demo can be found here.

The video is available in German, but with automatic subtitles you can watch it in English or other languages.
